Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Inkborn mobile application ("the app"), operated by Individual Entrepreneur Konstantin Kulikov ("we"). By using Inkborn you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Inkborn creates artistic portraits of fictional book characters based on how they are described in the text of the book, along with library, sharing, map, and diary features. Portraits are generated interpretations: they may be inaccurate or differ from your expectations, and results for the same character can vary.

2. Accounts

You sign in with your Apple or Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Inkborn.

3. Ink and purchases

• Ink is Inkborn's virtual currency: one ink creates one portrait. Ink is only deducted for successfully completed portraits; failed generations are automatically refunded to your balance.
• Ink has no monetary value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and is non-refundable except where required by law.
• Ink included with an Inkborn Plus subscription is credited each billing period and expires at the end of that period. Ink from one-time packs does not expire.
• All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Subscriptions

Inkborn Plus is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your App Store account settings.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Inkborn to attempt to create unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit imagery, or imagery that sexualizes minors; not to interfere with or disrupt the service; and not to reverse engineer the app. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. Generated portraits and your content

You may use the portraits generated for you for personal, non-commercial purposes, including sharing them on social media. Fictional characters may be subject to third-party rights (e.g., copyright in the underlying book); you are responsible for how you use generated images beyond personal enjoyment. You retain rights to the notes and other content you create in the app.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Inkborn is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using Inkborn and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia.
